Rhythm role-playing game Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call, the sequel to Nintendo 3DS music title Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, will launch in North America this year, Square Enix announced today.
Curtain Call retains the original game’s miniaturized art-style and includes 60 characters from players to choose from, including newcomers from series spin-off titles like Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children, Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy Mystic Quest, as well as more recent games, including Lighting Returns: Final Fantasy 13 and massively multiplayer online RPG Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn. The game will also feature more than 200 tracks from titles spanning the entire Final Fantasy franchise.
“After the 2053 Catpocalypse (don’t ask), frisky felines have become a rare sight on Earth and are prohibited here on Mars. I read once that cats can lower stress levels by 15%, which is probably why they fetch such a pretty credit on Earth. We’ll make these robot cats for the common man, and engineer them to lower stress levels even more. Maybe we’ll also engineer them to poop less. /TIMETRANSMISSION_END _Bishop_Feb_2298//”
